The Eagle Pass City Council approved a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Eagle Pass, Texas scheduling a public hearing to consider and either adopt or reject the Eagle Pass Water Works System 2017 Water & Wastewater Capital Improvements Plan and Land Use Assumptions under which a water impact fee may be imposed.

The City of Eagle Pass, is working on a master plan which will set a structure for the growth of the city, and will be holding a public hearing to listen to the ideas and comments from the general public on the construction of parks.

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors held their final tax rate public hearing and approved it on Thursday, September 14.

 The new rate will raise the tax from the MCHD from $0.09 per $100 valuation to $0.129 per $100 valuation: an increase of $0.039.

Not one taxpayer attended the  Maverick County Hospital District public hearing held on Tuesday, September 5 regarding the proposed 2017-2018 tax rate which will go from the current tax rate of  9 cents per every $100 valuation, to 12.9 cents per every $100 valuation; an increase of 3.9 cents.

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing meeting on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at 3406 Bob Rogers Dr, in the second floor administration conference room.
